Note: Original enlistment November 23, 1852 in New York in G and K Co, 2d Dragoons. He was 21 yrs. occupation.  He was discharged: September 23, 1857 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas Territory for expiration of service and held the rank of private.

Second enlistment was September 24, 1857 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas Territory into K, A and E Co, 2d Dragoons. He was 27.

He stood 5’8 with blue eyes, black hair, and fair complexion.
