Note: Second enlistment was March 13, 1886 at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri in F Trp, 2d Cavalry. He was 32.  He was discharged on March 12, 1891, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas for expiration of service and held the rank of private. He enlisted next day into C Trp, 2d Cavalry.

Third enlistment was March 13, 1891 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas into C Trp, 2d Cavalry and also served in g Trp. He was 37.  He was discharged on March 12, 1896 at Fort Wingate, New Mexico for expiration of service and held the rank of private.  He reenlisted next day into G Trp, 2d Cavalry.

Fourth enlistment was March 13, 1896 at Fort Wingate, New Mexico into G Trp, 2d Cavalry and also served in K Trp. He was 42.  He was discharged on March 12, 1899 at Cienfuegos, Cuba for expiration of service and held the rank of wagoner. He reenlisted next day  into K Trp, 2d Cavalry.

He stood 5’10¾” with grey eyes, black hair, and ruddy complexion.
